It’s an ingredient whose safety hasn’t been questioned up to now by anybody (at the very least not that we find out about). BG is accepted by Ecocert and can be used enthusiastically in natural products. BTW, it’s also a food stuff additive. Effectively, it used to be often called microbeads, as it was banned in 2015 during the " Microbea
